The property is an old traditional Kerala home designed to capture the panoramic view of the back waters of chalakudy river. The home is inward-looking with artistically designed windows and balconies. The house opens into courtyards where an evening dine out is created. The balconies are bordered by ornamental columns that adds to the aristocratic stature of the house. These balconies and verandas has built-in seating, with a view to the lush green outside.

The layout of the home is simple, and catering to the dwelling of people who want to visit Gods own country. The property is situated on the banks of river Chalakudy or Chalakudy Puzha which is the fifth longest river in Kerala , this brings cool breeze blowing around the house at all times and is surrounded by variety of luscious green forest .

The house was built following the principles of ancient science of carpentry and developed during the 19th centuries, which keeps the house safe and protected .The ground floor is spaced with two A\C bedrooms ,with proper ventilation and restrooms. It has a living room which is broad and spacious with a television. It has one door and two windows. . This window is always opened to welcome the sunshine. It’s the most wonderful thing of this room. The room is bright and airy. There is a reading corner with few collections of books.

The second floor of the house has a dormitory which has four individual beds . It also has two bedrooms with A\C and properly equipped restrooms. The high light of the house is the long brightly lit corridor facing the garden.
